Duquesne Media students produce TV newscast in March 2017

Students from Duquesne University produced a TV newscast in March of  2017. The newscast was part of the TV News/Studio I course in the Duquesne University Media Department. The advanced course developed the student’s skills in researching, writing, reporting, editing, and producing broadcast/multimedia news. Interviewing techniques, scripting for both radio and television news, and on-air performance was emphasized. This course also covered both areas beginning with the anchor/reporter positions and integrated the technical side of the operations of a newsroom.
