Pittsburgh Art Gallery Crawl

By Aamin Withrow-Davis, second-year graduate student in the Digital Media program

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is having a Gallery Crawl, Friday, Sept. 21 from 5:30 till 10 pm in the Cultural District. There will be a diverse selection of exhibits there ranging from public art to visual art such as Nonotak by Noemi Schipfer & Takami Nakamoto, where sound and space meets kinetic art. Many of the artworks on display have unique and inspirational qualities and stories behind them. For example, De’VIA by the students of The Western PA School for the Deaf is an exhibition that will showcase how art is experienced by the deaf.
Taking part in the art crawl is a great opportunity to take a break from coursework and to appreciate great art.
