The Duke Newspaper takes creative approach to explain the pros and cons of unpaid internships

Two of The Duke newspaper’s staff Bryanna McDermott and Zach Landau recently elucidated on the pros and cons of unpaid internships. Taking the approach of a debate within the article, both students deliberated on the effects and nature of the unpaid internship. Landau argued against unpaid internships while McDermott argued for. Both students made compelling arguments for the opposing points of view.

Bryanna McDermott  is a senior multiplatform journalism major, minoring in public relations and concentrating in sports media and assistant photo editor of ‘The Duke.’ Zach Landau is a senior studying digital media arts and philosophy and is the Arts and Entertainment editor for the Duke.
