Julie Pawlikowski and Jacques Hinkson-Compton Say Goodbye to ‘Duquesne Media NOW’

By Jacques Hinkson-Compton, second year graduate student in the Digital Media program

For the past year Duke Media NOW has highlighted the work of our talented students in the Media department at Duquesne University. The website has showcased various multimedia forms. We featured student’s work from classes such as Graphic Design Process, Visual Design and Layout, Principles of Audio and Video, Media Lab and some of your favorite articles from The Duke newspaper.

Every post has demonstrated what the bright minds of the Duquesne Media department can accomplish through hard work. This is the work that will launch you from student to the pinnacle of your respective professional careers. Every student whose work was featured on Duke Media Now should be very proud of what they have achieved.

This is the last Duke Media Now post from myself and Julie Pawlikowsi. I believe I can speak for both of us when I say we have enjoyed viewing each student’s work for the year. As Julie and I graduate we must pass the reigns on to other students but the idea of Duke Media Now will remain. A place for student’s work to be exhibited and seen by the Duquesne community and beyond. Thank you to everyone who provided work and to those who logged on to our web page.

If you are graduating this week congratulations, if not good luck on the rest of college. It has been an enjoyable experience being part of the Duquesne community.
